The Cameroon cricket team represents the country in international cricket. The team is organized by the Cameroon Cricket Federation. They gained affiliate membership of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2007 and became an associate member in 2017. The national side made its debut in 2011 during the 2011 Africa Division Three tournament in Ghana.

The Cameroon cricket team began its journey in international cricket in 2011 when they played in the 2011 Africa Division Three tournament in Ghana. The Cameroon Cricket Federation, which oversees the team, became an affiliate member of the ICC in 2007 and was elevated to associate member status in 2017. The team’s first T20 International match was against Mozambique at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali on 3 November 2021.

In April 2018, the ICC granted full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. As a result, all T20 matches played between the Cameroon cricket team and other ICC members since 1 January 2019 have been recognized as full T20I matches. Their debut was against the Mozambique cricket team, and while this wasn’t a particularly exhilarating game, this was very important for the team.
